Digital Engagement Manager

Background

The Plum Tree Group (www.plumtreegroup.net) is looking for a Digital Engagement Manager.  This position is unique in that in combines both a responsibility for managing the relationship and business of each account but also to provide strategic guidance in the fields of commerce and digital marketing.  We are looking for those that have a proven track record as well as those that have proven potential.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated past success as a client and relationship manager in the areas of relationship-building, upselling, project management, team resource allocation, digital strategy and client management.

Basic Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years demonstrated experience within the digital marketing space
  • College degree (Bachelors in Business, Marketing, or related field)
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting or client facing role
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Google Analytics
  • Proven capabilities to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cross functionally across teams and departments
  • Past experience working with eCommerce platforms (e.g. Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, etc)

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Perform research to establish a strong understanding of client’s business goals and propose solutions and strategies that meet their needs and drive their success on the web
  • Proven ability to manage client expectations and deliver on-time excellence
  • Exhibits professional conduct and communication at all times with clients and team
  • Identify CRO opportunities for clients, and lead testing processes
  • Manage ideation, planning, and execution efforts of CRO special projects. I.E. Design specs, freelancer contributions, etc.
  • Perform A/B, website usability and website conversion rate testing
  • Interpret web analytics, demographic data, market research, and buyer behaviors as they relate to CRO efforts. Generate and execute strategies as they relate to findings.
  • Ability to think outside-the-box and creatively problem solve; when necessary may need to consider channels and initiatives not native to Plum Tree in order to deliver exceptional results for the client
  • Identifies opportunities for upsell and positions these opportunities to the client in a manner that is solutions-oriented in a demeanor of partnership, not ‘sales’
  • Works effectively across all departments and service areas including technology, marketing and design teams (and other contracted parties) on project execution
  • Communicates progress to clients based on upfront established KPIs
  • Maintains accurate records of time, tasks, descriptions and projects
  • Adheres and utilizes current company processes and systems
